Descent, Fear Of Men.

Confesso que já tinha perdido o rasto aos Fear Of Men. Felizmente acabei de embater de frente neste belíssimo vídeo, via facebook da Stereogum.

Vocalist Jessica Weiss explores the complicated co-dependency of love as she refers to the intense connection as both a “dream” and “sickness” while repeatedly concluding in the pre-chorus, “’Cause I am you.” The austerity is softened to a sigh, though, and in that moment, the track whisks away into a pensive string finale that converts the immediately gratifying saccharinity into a melancholic aftertaste.
